Do I need an Amazon seller account?
No. You can scan products and see profit, fees and sales before you open a seller account. You only need one when you're ready to sell.
Which Amazon marketplaces does it cover?
United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Japan, each with its own fees and currency.
Where do the fees and sales numbers come from?
Fees come from Amazon for each product. Price, rank and offer history come from Keepa. Sales a month are Amazon's own "bought in past month" figure where available.
Does it work for online arbitrage?
Yes. Search by product name or ASIN instead of scanning, and use the same profit calculator.
How does the free trial work?
You get every feature for 7 days. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings before day 7 and you pay nothing.
Is Profit Mate made by Amazon?
No. Profit Mate is an independent app by JM Software Studio and is not affiliated with Amazon.
How to cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so you cancel in their settings, not in the app. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Profit Mate.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
On Android
- Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Profit Mate, tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
How to restore a purchase
If you already subscribed and the app asks you to subscribe again, open the subscription screen and tap "Restore purchase" ("Already subscribed? Restore purchase"). Use the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. You can also open Settings in the app and tap Manage subscription.
